Information We Collect
The app and related backend services collect the information needed to create accounts, verify users, process escrow and vehicle transaction steps, review documents, and support payment workflows. Depending on the role and transaction, this may include:
- Account and authentication information: name, phone number, OTP/authentication identifiers, Clerk user identifiers, broker, dealer, partner, or company profile details, and role/authorization status.
- Business and tax identifiers: company title, tax office, tax number, VKN/TCKN-style identifiers, registration details, and other identifiers entered by the user or extracted from documents.
- Vehicle and transaction information: listing, escrow, order, invoice, notary, plate, VIN/chassis, registration, authorization, buyer/seller, and transaction status data.
- Financial and payment information: IBAN, bank receipt data, checkout/session identifiers, payment status, installment and card metadata such as last-four digits where returned by payment processors, and terminal transaction metadata.
- Documents, photos, and files: uploaded vehicle photos, identity or authorization documents, tax plates, bank receipts, invoice/notary documents, signature circulars, and related file metadata.
- OCR and review outputs: extracted text, structured fields, confidence/review metadata, and validation results generated from uploaded files and images.
- Device, network, and diagnostic data: device identifiers available to the app or platform, IP/network information, app version, operating system, error logs, telemetry, request identifiers, security events, and fraud-prevention signals.
Android Permissions and Device Features
Escrow requests Android permissions only for product and payment workflows currently found in the mobile app codebase:
- camera, photos, and files: used to use the camera to capture, select, and upload transaction documents and vehicle images, including files sent for OCR processing.
- Fine location, phone state, and NFC: used by Nearpay terminal/payment SDK checks and terminal-related payment flows. The current app code does not request or use background location.
- Internet and network state: used for authentication, backend API calls, document upload, payment checks, and network-aware app behavior.
Based on the current code reviewed for this internal-testing release, we did not find use of background location, SMS or call-log access, microphone access, health data, contacts access, or advertising ID collection.
How We Use Information

Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the app and related services, complete escrow and payment workflows, satisfy tax/accounting and legal requirements, handle disputes and fraud-prevention reviews, maintain security records, and meet operational backup obligations. Retention periods vary by record type and legal obligation.
Account and Data Deletion
You may request account deletion or deletion of personal information by emailing admin@zopio.com from the phone number or email associated with your account, or by including enough information for us to verify the request.
When we receive a verified account deletion request, we will delete or de-identify account information where legally and operationally permitted. Some records may be retained when necessary for escrow completion, payment processing, refund or chargeback handling, fraud prevention, tax/accounting records, legal compliance, dispute handling, backup integrity, and security logs.
For Google Play internal testing, admin@zopio.com is also the contact for testers who want their test account and associated test data reviewed or deleted.
Security
We use technical and organizational safeguards appropriate for a pre-release internal-testing app, including authenticated access, role-based backend controls, transport security where supported, restricted operational access, logging, and redaction practices for sensitive diagnostics. No system is completely secure, so testers should avoid uploading unnecessary personal data during internal testing.
